An Ode To Marker-Made T-Shirts

For the band’s 25th anniversary, Foo Fighters asked fans to contribute photos, videos and written stories to their website. The band had planned to use these in their upcoming 2020 tour that unfortunately ended up being cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

For my submission, I wanted to make a short documentary. I set up two cameras and interviewed myself, chronicling my love for the band and great memories made along the way. I was inspired by and incorporated editing techniques used in Foo Fighters’ own documentary, Back & Forth.

While Foo Fighters had only planned to share these stories on tour, the band posted and celebrated my video on their social media the day after I submitted it. My submission was the only one they ever shared.
