Free Comic Book Day 2022 ad

The Big Lebowski is one of my favorite movies and I wanted to pay tribute to it in some small way with this TikTok advertisement for Free Comic Book Day at The Comic Book Shop. I edited this to Bob Dylan’s Man in Me and put on my best Sam Elliot impression to emulate the opening of The Big Lebowski.

In addition to the free books, The Comic Book Shop also gave away free tickets to the Lilac City Comicon convention. I came up with a fun game that tied in with the Riddler character from the recently released Batman movie to distribute the free tickets. To advertise this, I re-edited the original video to contain several glitch effects and a distorted voice; both calling cards of this version of the Riddler.
